You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ). The proposal should outline the Special Section’s intended focus, detailing its aims and explaining what kind of studies it is expected to attract. The proposal should also include: potential areas for authors to consider, potential contributors, titles and complete Guest Editors’ details along with a timetable indicating submission and publication dates.

The Editor-in-Chief and the Senior Editor evaluate the submitted proposals in terms of suitability, significance, innovation and impact, and subsequently suggest potential improvements and updates to ensure that the proposals meet the required expectations. Proposers are notified of the final decision for the submitted Special Section proposal by email.

For approved Special Section proposals, a well-orchestrated dissemination plan is implemented, including:
Special Section promotion on OJAP’s website and through OJAP’s newsletter and social media in order to attract high-quality, high-impact submissions;
Call-for-papers (CfP) preparation and announcement on OJAP’s website;
CfP dissemination through OJAP’s newsletter and social media;
Identification and invitation of prospective authors, soliciting submissions so as to ensure a significant number of high quality papers.

All invited and regular submissions must be peer-reviewed according to the established OJAP editorial process, which combines the rigor of peer review with the speed of open-access publishing, aiming at a submission to publication frame equal to 4 – 6 weeks. Potential recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief comprise Accept, Minor Revision, Reject.
